After studying at the Christian Colorado University, she went on to become a certified nursing assistant and earn a medical administration certificate, equipping her with a diverse skill set that has served her well. 

Cheska's passion for healthcare and helping others led her to join IH in 2019, as the organization's very first employee. Cheska is currently enrolled at Unitek College, pursuing a nursing degree that will further enhance her already impressive medical expertise. When she's not immersed in her studies or professional responsibilities, Cheska relishes the opportunity to spend quality time with her family and friends, indulging her love of rock collecting, and staying active through swimming and other sports. Robert, more popularly known as "Kuya" or "big brother" by his colleagues and clients, is a driven and multifaceted individual who has already accomplished impressive academic and professional feats. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Network and Communications Management from DeVry University, Robert now has his sights set on furthering his education in the dynamic field of cybersecurity. His thirst for knowledge and continuous self-improvement is palpable, as he seeks to expand his expertise and stay at the forefront of an industry that is constantly evolving.

Joining the IH team in 2022, Robert has quickly endeared himself to all who cross his path with his warm, lighthearted, and genuinely cheerful demeanor. Clients have embraced him as their beloved "Kuya Rob," appreciating the fun-loving spirit he brings to his work. Robert's talents and interests extend far beyond the professional realm. In his free time, he is an avid video game enthusiast, immersing himself in virtual worlds and honing his strategic skills. Moreover, Robert is also an entrepreneur, channeling his creativity and business acumen into innovative ventures. Jasper is a passionate and driven individual who has chosen to pursue a degree in Psychology with a specialized focus on Industrial Organization at California State University, East Bay. Since joining the IH family in 2023, he has hit the ground running as a program instructor, quickly learning the ropes around client acquisition and intake. Jasper's enthusiasm and strong work ethic have enabled him to excel in this role, as he taps into his deep fascination with human behavior and organizational dynamics. 

Outside of his studies and work, Jasper enjoys a diverse array of hobbies that allow him to stay active, creative, and connected with the world around him. An avid gamer, he can often be found immersed in the latest video game releases, challenging himself and his friends to epic virtual battles that test their strategic thinking and reflexes. When he needs to unwind and recharge, Jasper loves to lace up his running shoes and hit the local nature trails, finding solace in the peaceful surroundings. Photography is another of Jasper's creative hobbies, as he captures the beauty of various subjects through his lens. He also cherishes the time he spends with his best friend and younger brother. Alicie's life has been dedicated to caring for others, both professionally and personally. After studying at Alcorn State University, she embarked on a remarkable 40-year career as a Certified Nurse Assistant and Home Health & Hospice nurse, touching the lives of countless individuals with her warm, compassionate nature.

Alicie's infectious positivity and genuine concern for others have been the hallmarks of her career, as she has consistently described herself as friendly, caring, happy, and big-hearted.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alicie's zest for life shines through in her diverse array of hobbies - from the thrill of skiing down powdery slopes to the tranquility of a round of golf, and the pure joy she finds in dancing the night away. Margerita is a busy and dedicated mother of four yet despite her busy schedule, Margerita has made the decision to further her education, currently enrolled in community college as she works towards obtaining her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.

This admirable goal speaks to Margerita's strong work ethic and desire to expand her skillset, building upon the impressive 14 years of hands-on caregiving experience she has already accumulated.

In her free time, Margerita makes time to indulge in her favorite leisure activities, which include binge-watching her favorite TV shows and movies as well as getting lost in the pages of a good book. Above all, Margerita's top priorities in life remain her devotion to family, cherished pets, and close-knit group of friends, the people who bring her the greatest joy and fulfillment.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Nathan's is a trained chef and also operates his catering business. When he's not working or supporting his loved ones, Nathan enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, highlighting the importance he places on maintaining strong personal relationships. His compassionate nature shines through in his personal life, where he generously offers his time and assistance to a family member with a disability.

Rufino is a dedicated and diligent professional who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence to his role as program instructor. He holds a bachelor's degree in AB Psychology, which has provided him with a deep understanding of our industry. Since completing his education, Rufino has focused his career on humanitarian and community service endeavors. Rufino has worked extensively in both day program and home care settings, focusing his efforts on providing high-quality, personalized care and support to individuals facing a wide range of needs.

Outside of work, Rufino maintains an active and engaged lifestyle. He enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, taking leisurely walks in the park, finding it to be a peaceful and reflective way to unwind. 

Rufino is also an avid reader who closely follows the daily news to stay informed about current events around the world. As a car enthusiast, he takes great pleasure in attending car shows and exhibitions, appreciating the craftsmanship and innovation on display. 

Above all, Rufino is a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities. He believes strongly in creating a more inclusive and accessible society for all, and dedicates himself tirelessly to this important cause both professionally and personally.

Arjohn completed his education as a licensed vocational nurse, and has since gained extensive experience which has equipped him with the skills, compassion, and problem-solving abilities needed to deliver the highest quality of care in his new role with Inspire Higher.

He is an avid sports enthusiast who can often be found on the basketball court honing his jump shot, hitting the trails for a mind-grounding hike, pounding the pavement on a distance run, or pushing himself to reach new heights at the gym. Arjohn also values the quieter moments and nourishes his mind through his love of reading.

Yvette has dedicated her professional career to the fields of accounting and healthcare administration, leveraging her expertise to make a meaningful impact in her community. After earning a certificate in accounting technician from Chabot College, she embarked on a rewarding 10-year journey as an accounts payable specialist with Planned Parenthood, honing her skills in managing complex financial transactions and ensuring the organization's fiscal responsibilities were meticulously handled. Her keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy proved invaluable in this role, as she deftly navigated the intricacies of healthcare accounting. Seeking to further expand her horizons, Yvette then spent 2.5 years applying her accounting prowess to the payroll systems of Davis Street and Stepping Stones Day Program, demonstrating her versatility and adaptability within the field. 

However, Yvette's passions extend far beyond the office; she is a devoted and loving mother to a delightful toddler, and in her spare time, she indulges in her culinary curiosity by trying new and exciting foods from around the world. An avid traveler, Yvette also enjoys exploring new destinations, immersing herself in diverse cultures and experiences. To maintain a healthy work-life balance, she is an active individual who loves to stay fit through hiking and other outdoor pursuits, all while finding solace and inspiration in the melodies of her favorite songs.
